Sudha Chandran, born in 1964, is an Indian actress and former classical dancer. She turned took up an acting career after the loss of a leg in an accident in 1982.
She played herself in the Telugu film "Mayuri" (1984), which was based on her own real life story. It was remade in 1986 as "Naache Mayuri" in Hindi, based on the Telugu original film and the cast was changed except for Sudha to suit the North Indian sensibilities. She was awarded the 1986 National Film Award - Special Jury Award for her performance in the film Mayuri.
She appeared in several popular TV serials and she is a noted TV personality.
