Happy New Year 2012!

I wish for all of you a wonderful year 2012, full of happiness, prosperity and good health. I hope the New Year celebrations bring in a peaceful year around the world, and wipe the tears of those who had to cry in 2011, for whatever reason!

10,500,000 firecrackers - new world record

According to this video, at the 2006 Fireworks Convention in Appleton, Wisconsin, two world records were broken as regards firecrackers. In this 3 minute video clip you can see the entire event. They were the most firecrackers lit in one mega-string (approximately 10,500,000 firecrackers) and the most firecrackers in one super string (a vertical string of crackers).
