Telugu film Billa, directed by Mehar Ramesh of Kantri fame, is the remake of the Tamil film Billa (2007), which featured Ajith and Nayantara, which in turn was the remake of Rajanikanth's Tamil film of the same name (Billa, 1980). Both the Tamil versions were remakes of the Hindi cult film Don, starring Amitabh Bachchan in the first version and Shah Rukh Khan in the second. The main stars are Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Namitha, Krishnam Raju, Rahman and Hansika Motwani.
