Sivaji Ganesan, one of the most talented and celebrated actors of Indian cinema of yesteryears, was the reigning king of Tamil Film Industry in the later part of the 20th Century. He acted in more than 300 films, performing as the lead actor. This statue in his honour was erected in 2006 at the Marina Beach Road circle, Kamaraj Salai, Chennai, India.
