When reporters asked the South Indian celebrity about how it feels to be under the spotlight, she said, “I love being in the limelight. Whatever is happening is both good and bad. But then it’s a part and parcel of our profession.”
As the talented and beautiful Lakshmi Rai is all set to star in Satish Kaushik’s upcoming Bollywood flick, she does not need Dhoni to make headlines. Recently there were rumors of her acting in X-rated films and clandestine pictures of the actress hit the internet. But the actress said, “The news wasn’t true. I’ve always been in news for some reason or the other. Lakshmi Rai is a hot topic for news. There were never any vulgar pictures of me on the net.”
“As far as our friendship is concerned, there’s nothing wrong with going out for a cup of coffee. Just that he’s the captain of the cricket team and I’m a celebrity so this is the news people have been waiting for… Dhoni’s never been in a serious relationship with anyone” she said and continued, “Anyway, if something was going on between us, I wouldn’t have kept it a secret.”
