South Indian actress Nikitha, who debuted director Fazil's Malayalam film Kaiyethum Doorathu in 2002, has appeared in only three Malayalam films so far including Bus Conductor (2004) and Bhargava Charitham Moonam Khandam (2005). The films could not establish a foothold for Nikitha in Mollywood. However, she later acted in nearly 22 films in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. She is known for her item number 'Kodana Kodi' in the Tamil film Saroja (2008). After a gap of three years, Nikitha is now making a comeback in Malayalam in director Viswanathan's upcoming Malayalam film “Dr. Patient” (Doctor Patient) starring Jayasuriya. Dr. Patient, a hilarious entertainer, revolves around a mental sanitarium where Dr. Ruben Issac (Jayasuriya) is a psychiatrist. This is the first time in his career that Jayasuriya, known for his light-hearted comic roles, performs as a psychiatrist. Mukesh plays another psychiatrist. The cast includes Jagathy Sreekumar, Suraj Venjaramoodu and Nedumudi Venu. Dr. Patient is the second movie of director Viswanathan, whose debut film was “Out of Syllabus”. The film is expected to hit theatres soon.
