India actress Priyanka Chopra celebrates with the trophy after winning the Nielsen Box Office Award at the Asian Film Awards in Hong Kong Monday, March 23, 2009.
The award was presented during the Annual Asian Film Awards at the 33rd Hong Kong International Film Festival, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on March 23, 2009.
Priyanka Chopra, the 26-year-old former Miss World 2000, received the Nielsen Box Office Award from Eric Mika for outstanding contribution to Asian films at the third annual Asian Film Awards event which was a part of the film festival.
Priyanka Chopra is the second to receive the award presented by The Hollywood Reporter (THR), after actor Andy Lau, who received the award in 2007.
For Priyanka every thing is going great guns these days, and she is in news always, whether it is about her plans to sing in films, walking the red carpet at the Atlantis opening in Dubai, appearing on 'Verve' November issue as the cover girl, or walking the ramp with Kangana and Mugdha at the Lakme Fashion Week.
