judging by the medical aftershock of Goody's passing, it sounds like she might have inadvertently made a long-term difference for cancer prevention in the U.K.

Hi Coffee Maker,
Goody was a very brave person. Even while approaching death, she made arrangements for coverage by media, married her boyfriend and sold the wedding photos for $1 million, and asked her relatives and friends to give her a huge last party.

She was completely eaten by cancer. The media frenzy about Goody's condition drove home to every young woman the message that they too can be victims of cancer. This sent the visits to hospitals for cancer tests to an all time high!
