Bollywood movie LUCK hit the theatres on Friday

The Bollywood action movie “Luck” is the story of mafia kingpin Musa (Sanjay Dutt) who has the obsession to revolutionize the betting industry. He is joined by a host of characters from around the world each with Lady Luck on their side. Millions are at stake in the game of danger and deceit.

The real story of Luck revolves around Ram Mehra (Imran Khan), who has many problems, and needs a lot of money. So does Ayesha (Shruti Haasan), and the Major (Mithun Chakraborty), and Shortcut (Chitrashi Rawat). Musa and his right hand man (Danny Denzongpa) catch hold of cash-strapped Ram and his lot and transport them to South Africa, where they play on their luck and their lives. Ram has to overcome the hurdles created by Musa to win a game of money and greed.

Imran Khan, who could not get much success with the movie “Kidnap” after having his dream debut with “Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na”, has performed dangerous stunts in Luck. Sanjay Dutt can be seen for the first time on screen since he tried his hands in politics.

Shruti Haasan, the daughter of the legendary actor Kamal Haasan, debuts in Luck. She is definitely a multiple talented actress to watch out for her daring ways. She was bold enough to appear in a bikini in her debut film. Shruti, who grew up on a staple diet of Bruce Lee (Enter The Dragon), 007 and Jackie Chan, has performed some unbelievable daredevil stunts in the film.

Shruti said about her debut role, “I enjoy going against gravity! The stunts Luck offered me were simply mind-boggling. I had to learn scuba diving for which there was a short course. As I often perform live, I’m physically fit and taking on strenuous activities was never a problem.”

Directed by Soham Shah of “Kaal” fame, Luck, which is based entirely on the premise of it brimming over with dangerous action, and it will tip one over a couple of times. Shree Ashtavinayak Cinevision Ltd produces the film with music composed by Salim-Sulaiman.
